This scholarship aims to recognize and support exceptional individuals pursuing a career in mental health. Scholarship Overview

The Dr. Ryan Sondergard Scholarship for Mental Health Professionals is an annual scholarship program that provides $2,000 to exceptional students pursuing a career in mental health. We aim to support individuals committed to improving mental health services by alleviating some of the financial burden associated with higher education. Eligible applicants must have a declared major or concentration in a mental health-related field, maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, and submit the required materials by the June 30th deadline. The selection process considers academic achievements, essay quality, letters of recommendation, and commitment to mental health. Criteria

To be eligible for the Dr. Ryan Sondergard Scholarship for Mental Health Professionals, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be enrolled or accepted in an accredited college or university program in the United States.
  • Have a declared major or concentration in a mental health-related field, such as psychology, psychiatry, counseling, or social work.
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Submit all required application materials by August 15th, 2024.
